The View from Hampton U highlights Black History. We take a tour of the Freedom Fighters exhibit in the University Museum. This exhibit, created by Jacob Lawrence, tells of the lives of Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman. Dr. Patrick Lewis, Chairperson of the Department of Political Science and History, tells of working at Hampton during the Civil Rights Movement. Professor Robert C. Watson gives a tour of the historical sites on Hampton’s campus that relate to civil rights. Also on this episode are profiles of Nesim Haylo, Chairperson for the Department  of Engineering, and Albert Toledo, computer science student.
