This edition of The View from Hampton U highlights the development of research programs in the school of pharmacy.  Dr. Wayne Harris, dean of the school of Pharmacy, elaborates on why it is important for minority students to study pharmacy and how Hampton's students have excelled in the research of cancer and diseases.  Dr. Neelam Azad and Dr. Anand Iyer, Assistant Professors of Pharmaceutical Sciences, speak about the two research programs and grants they head and how the proposals will help the nation's health. Dr. Carl Tullio, Director of the Drug information center, discusses how the facility trains students in drug information and research.  Later, a faculty profile of Dr. Halima Ali, Professor of Mathematics, and student profile of Tabita Daolio
